Use Daily for consistency
One complete Daily paper is available free each day in Matchday. The fixed edition makes streaks and personal bests meaningful.
- Solve at roughly the same time.
- Finish before chasing speed.
- Review clue stories after completion.
Use Practice for a skill target
Matchday+ practice desks are Easy, Standard, Hard, and Expert. Choose a desk based on the grid experience you want, not status.
- Easy for clean mechanics.
- Standard for routine crossings.
- Hard or Expert for denser recall.
Keep progress local
The app’s puzzle progress and settings are designed to stay on the device. A practice routine does not require creating an account.
- Back up the device normally.
- Use restore for StoreKit entitlements when needed.
- Contact support for purchase-state issues.
